Note from the CT State Grange Secretary:

Our block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Norwich is now sold out. Fortunately we have been able to work out an arrangement through the Holiday Inn with the Hampton Inn. The Hampton Inn is located across the street from the Holiday Inn at 154 Salem Tpke., Norwich. The rate is $129.00 per night plus tax. A hot breakfast is included in the room rate. This hotel opened in the spring of this year so it is a brand new property with all of the conveniences.

The Holiday Inn assures us they will make any cancellations available to our members so please call them first to see if any are available there. If not, please call the Hampton Inn and remember to mention the Connecticut State Grange to be sure to get one of the rooms reserved for us.

Attendance cards will be issued by the Treasurer upon presentation of credentials. The cards and badges will be given out on Thursday. The Celebration Banquet does not count as a session.

Delegates should make every effort to be present at the Opening Session and each session thereafter. Sessions committees should not meet during the regular session. Time has been provided in the schedule for meetings of the sessions committees. State Committee Directors and members will be happy to participate in discussions of any sessions committees, if they are asked.

All badges should be left at the table in the rear of the hall at the conclusion of the Session on Saturday.

It is not the duty of the typist to type reports for officers or other pink sash wearers. All reports for the Journal of Proceedings should be given to the State Secretary before leaving the Session, if not mailed previously.

The annual session concludes the work of the Grange year. We hope your Grange will be represented to answer the roll call on Thursday evening, October 19th as we look forward to another year of good Grange work in Connecticut.
