PROJECT #2 - PARADE OF HALLOWEEN COSTUMES & HALLOWEEN MAZE
The Connecticut State Grange will be participating in a Halloween Costume Parade and Maze on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 with the American School for the Deaf. Volunteers are needed to assist with both of these activities.
Time: Noon to 2:00 PM
Location: American School for the Deaf - Library, 139 North Main Street, West Hartford, CT
Costume Parade: The Connecticut State Grange will be hosting the final stop of the Costume Parade in the ASD Library. Grangers will be able to sit at a decorated table and hand out items to students.
Halloween Fun Maze: The Connecticut State Grange will also host a fun Halloween Maze in the ASD Library for students (Pre-K through Grade 5). The fun (not-scary) Maze can include items such as corn stalks, pumpkins, a “camp fire”, games, stickers, bookmarks and themed pumpkin characters based on Halloween books. Grange themes will be woven into the event (fruits, vegetables, farming, gardening, etc.) and Grange volunteers/guests will interact with students, teachers, and other attendees.
