Brandi Hawkins is a motivated junior in the Vo-Ag program at the new Killingly High School. She is a member of the Ekonk Community Grange and active FFA member. Last year she was the chapter Secretary and attended the National FFA convention as a delegate. Brandi has challenged her abilities on the meat judging and dairy products team in the Vo-Ag program. She placed second individually in the state for meat judging. As a freshman Brandi started up her own goat business which has grown and provides registered Nubian Breeding, goat kid sales, goat products and soaps. Being involved in the grange helped Brandi build community service skills and networking abilities. Brandi a has a bright future and plans on attending college to study Natural Resources. |
