FEBRUARY 24, 2013 -- The National Grange Legislative Department already has several irons in the fire for 2013. Obviously, with the new Congress coming into town, I’ll spend quite a lot of time on the Hill getting to know the new legislators and their staff.

New recognition program announced by National Youth Department

FEBRUARY 2, 2013 -- Growth of the youth program depends on the successful programming and efforts of our state, Pomona and community Granges. The National Grange Youth Department unveiled a recognition program at the National Session for outstanding youth programs.

Did you know ... Youth Members of Connecticut, for all purposes, will be recognized as age 14-35. Committee Chairmen and members may be of any age.

2013 Youth Conference Information ... The 2013 Youth Conference will be held in Vermont. More information will be released soon.

Youth Goals... As always, increasing and/or improving the number of Youth Grangers in the State. The Youth Grange Motto is Improvement and Change for this year.

	National Grange Youth Program ... The National Grange Youth program is designed to provide leadership training and life skills training opportunities. There are only two programs that are age specific; all programs are open to all Grange members regardless of age.
