September News from Lyme Grange

  SEPTEMBER 26, 2016 --

Oct. 6: Are you ready for State Session?

Nov. 3: Ag Program- The Frost is on the Pumpkin

Dec. 1: Potluck at 6:30. Certificate Night – Are you ready for Rudolph?

On a beautiful, low humidity evening, we held our August meeting. Our Overseer took over as our Master was on vacation.

Potluck Picnic proved the old saying, “The Lord will provide” Eleven people attended with baked ham, baked beans, mac & cheese, tossed salad, coleslaw, crackers & cheese, fruit Jell-0, cookies, frozen pie, and watermelon. No one knew what the other person was bringing.

We voted to let the church use our hall for their Rummage Sale on October 1 and after many, many notices, to suspend members who have not paid dues as of Sept. 1.

All hands on deck as we cleared our hall of regalia so the fair could use it for handicraft and photo exhibits. Someone not paying attention, crashed into our new fence. Luckily they have insurance and it will be repaired by fair time.

Our Lecturer returned from Lecturer’s conference all fired up and ready for another year.

Several of our members are under the weather with various problems. We wish them a speedy recovery.
